Marlin 1895SBL
« on: November 09, 2009, 10:44:49 AM »
Anybody like the new Marlin 1895 SBL .45-70? I think it is an excellent looking gun. I wish they would make a strait stocked version in .44 mag or .357 mag for hunting or SD here in Indiana. Just an idea that would make me damn giddy ;D

This 3 page thread has some really nice customized Marlin Guide Guns. Some of the best I've seen.  Bill T.

I love that rifle and I'm seriously considering the standard guide gun, but I'm in Indiana too so I can't hunt with it.

I have a Blued Standard Guide Gun with the ports. It shoots nice with the 405 Grain Remington load. In fact I'm thinking of taking it out tomorrow and ringing some steel with it.  Bill T.

Case blued reciever, octagon barrel, .44 mag., 12 round magazine, great price, and I've heard nothing but great things of Puma's quality.  What more could you want?  :)

BM,

This is one of the 'old' Pumas made by Rossi.  Good gun.  I have two and a friend (Crusader Rabbit here on the forum) just bought a Stainless Steel 44 mag version from Buds.  This is a great price for a good gun!
