What I found MORE disturbing was how so many of the comments focused on the GAME, rather than the writers point about shooting civilians for "fun".

One of the posters replying to the clip raised a good point. How is this different than reading a Tom Clancy novel or watching an action movie? I was in agreement. Then I watched about half of the video clip before I turned it off. I am no shrinking violet and in no way shape or form want to support censorship. That being said, if I had a teenager, that game would come into my house over my dead body. Parents do your jobs! Pay attention to what your kids see and listen to, the government is not your nanny, you have to do it yourself.

my buddies kid was playing this game today, modern warfare 2. apparently all the kids in the country are playing it, he says thats a mission from the terrorists perspective and most of the time you play as rangers.

Shit move by the developers, especially after ft. hood. i imagine this isnt the last we are going to hear of this, considering millions of kids all over the planet are playing this.

SOLD!  I'm getting a copy tommarow if I can find one before their banned.

Say what you want.  It's a game.  A VERY realistic looking game, but just a game non the less.

Why? That clip was like watching a snuff film. I couldn't get through the whole thing before turning it off. Why? Not because I couldn't take it, but because I didn't need to. Why subject yourself to that crap, much less pay $50 to do so. Watch the news, its included with your cable bill.

have to confess that i played it for a couple of hours with my buddy and there is a warning at the start of the game that some levels contain scenes that some may find disturbing, and there is an option to skip these scenes. awesome game though. fun to gun down teenagers in NJ.  ;D

Maybe they should make a version where we take over DC.

They could call it, "Call of Duty 5: Tom Bogan Takes Washington".   ;D
"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison

I love it!  Why am I thinking there's been a version of this for sale in China for years now?  :-\  Well, Tom may not be in that one.  ;D
