I can't speak from a parents point of view, but most of my siblings video games come from me.  And I let most of them play what ever they want if I know they are mature enough.  There's a few that I don't let them play, mainly because of, boobie and language content, the older ones don't mind the violence of CoD, Crysis, or Fallout 3, but I do know it would bother some of the little guys because it 'realism'.  Some of the more animated violent game with just a much or more blood don't bother the little ones, like Team Fortress 2.  I'm glad to know that some folks out there are doing what best for their families and being active parents and learning their habits, rather than reactionary.

My PS3 came as a "Bundle" with "Uncharted 2".  A first person shooter / adventure maze game in which the characters use worse language ("F" word & the such) than any drunken sailor ever would.

I let my daughter sit in for me while playing the shooter games on-line, and she laughs off the violence.  All the cursing they do in Uncharted bothers us both WAY more...   :-\

Honestly does worry me a little to see her excited & proud of getting "head shots" with a .50 cal....  ;D :-\ ;D  But I know she's mature enough to know a game from reality.

it seems like the whole world is talking about this game, my son, sister, kids at the diner, colleagues. may have to use my kids xbox and play it some more.  for fact finding of course.  ;)

I heard on X-Play that you can skip this level.

I'll also mention that this level would be OK if all the civilians were zombies.

it is just a game


the majority of the "gamer"  that would be playing this game are Gen X'res    I know a bloke nearly 50  that is getting this game

I see no real issue with it

How many DRTV'ers are gamers?  I was tempted to start a thread about gaming.  Kind of like the non-gun stuff thread.  I don't want to corrupt the site with gaming.  (especially since I am not a big gamer but I do own a xbox 360)  Just to discuss games.  Most of the time I play military shooter games.  I did purchase COD 4 Modern Warfare but I can't stand "RUN AND GUN" games I don't know what COD: MW2 will be but I will probably rent/borrow before I buy.  On another note.  Assassins Creed 2 is about to be released.  Old school up close and personal covert killing = SWEET
