I think he greets Pelosi, and Harry Reid the same way?

Except he faces the other way.

Caption away boys and girls!

"Emperor, I brought you a gift. Hey Honey, can you get it, its up there right next to my head. You see it?"

I also wanted to add that I really liked Mr. Banes take on bowing on the podcast. We are Americans. We do not bow. I think since the president is representing us we should have a say if we want him bowing down to other nations leaders. If you have bombed, threatened, help fund terrorist cells, harbor terrorists and criminals, or use our money that we seem to just give away or even talked bad about us in your newspaper, I think you should bow to us not the other way around. I am so sick of this. I was not the biggest Bush supporter but come on what is this guy doing any better. Will there be another civil war before we get back on track. I never want to fight my fellow American but how come people are thinking this stuff is good. Or should I say he is good.

Here is a pretty good vid. I dont know if anyone else posted it. If you did sorry I missed your post.

Ksail, The people you refer to are NOT "your fellow Americans", they are "Citizens of the world", and that is the basic cause of the problem. America was not founded to go along with the European principles that had given them hundreds of years of warfare and eventually led to the Death Camps. America was founded to allow the Individual to attempt to reach his highest potential, accepting the fact that some would fail miserably, and then start over.

I guess your right Tom. I just put a video on my last post and people who I feel are beneath us in terms of power and people are not in anyway bowing to this man. His father was the reason Pearl Harbor was bombed, he was so proud he never used the word surrender after the bombs were dropped. Japanese are very proud and I doubt that they would ever bow to our leader. They dont toast at dinners. Heck after president Clintons little bow the White House went out of the way to say he didnt. It makes me so mad. We are losing so much respect in the bad peoples eyes that we are being attacked (as in just civilians on vacation cause terrorists know that nothing will happen to them.) in countries we liberated.
Did we win???

Cheer up K, Hirohito may not have used the word surrender, but a large part of that was because he did not wan't 3/4 of his remaining population to kill themselves in disgrace. The important thing was that when MacArthur said "I would like to meet with you" it was in Mac's office, not on the Emperors turf. In a face conscious society like that it was more telling than if Hirohito had got on his knees and begged , "Please Massa, don't whoop me no mo".
