Damn I ordered it Monday night and got it tonight great fast service  A+ WE now have to get to work and get it sanded and coated Pictures will follow wahoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Have fun, with the laminates, you can urethane, tung oil, but you can also buff with a felt wheel and compound and its beautiful, just go slow and don't overheat the wood. Not everybody has this kind of polishing equipment, but it blends all the pores together with great result. I wish I had another 10/22 that needed a face lift. Great find.

I'm wondering what it'd look like after a really dark burgandy stain, then a coat of urethane...  Pretty sweet I'd guess.   :)

sanded and 2 coats on should have pictures by Monday wahooooooooooooooooooooooo  ;D :o stock needed very little sanding and was great to work with according to my buddy doing it for me
