Springfield XD and multiple calibers?
« on: December 04, 2007, 07:05:15 PM »
I own a Springfield XD 40 service model.  I have heard that with a change of barrel and magazine I could shoot .357 SIG or 9mm.  Is this true and all that needs to be done?  Has anyone done this?

Thanks

Yes you can do that.  For the .357Sig, it is just a barrel change.  For the 9mm, you will need the barrel and magazines.  Make sure that you get the 9mm barrel that is to convert the .40 to 9mm, not just a 9mm barrel for the XD9.
