I hope slide lightening isn't anything like butt thunder.    ::)

Actually just the opposite, you want a heavy slide and light recoil spring.  The heavier the slide the more momentum it will gain on the backs stroke.

That was a long slide (compeition) model he was using.

Will work for ammo

That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."

How about slide lightening? I wonder with a stock recoil spring it would work.

Actually you need a heavy slide that uses its momentum to carry it on backwards when you jerk the gun back.

This was the "competition" long slide Glock he was using.

Will work for ammo

I attempted it with my M&P40... Nope but I get the enough play in the slide that the snapcap became partly unseated.

With the hammers pre-cocked ...

I can do it on my open STI 2011 Eagle 5.5;

I can get the slide to move but not fully rack on my limited Para P 16 with long slide.

However, this old body has some very choice words for those that led me to trying through your attempts.  I will try to keep it fairly clean, but in the words of mommy dearest ... HANG  IT  IN  YOUR  FRICKEN  ASSES !!!  Now I will go and find that Ben Gay stashed around here somewhere  :'(

this is impossible. there isn't enough inertia in the world to rack my glock slide...maybe if I remove the spring....no way!
