Any comment I make will force the Secret Service to incur travel and overtime costs.
I shall do my part to fight Govt. spending and keep my mouth shut.

For now.  ;D

Byrd was there, saw him wheeled in.

Liberman was there and voted for it along with every Dem, even the 3 that said they wouldn't vote for it.

This vote, even though along party lines, was merely to allow the bill to go the floor for future discussions and ammendments.  They are a long ways away from passing this bill, if they ever do.  The sellout Senator from LA has stated that she still will not vote for the bill in it's current state and so has Lieberman.  We shall see where it goes for both of them.

They only need one vote under 60 to stall this POS untill next year.  If they can stop it long enough, the dumbocraps will not sacrifice their ability to get re-elected, we all hope.  We need to start flooding our Reps and Senators with emails, phone calls, letters, etc.....whatever it takes to stop these assholes.  Too much is at stake at the moment, for us as a country and for them and their re-election chances.

Remind them that unemployment maxes out at about 650 bucks a week in most of the more expensive states.  Granted, most of these dirtbags don't need the money but I would love to put them out of work.

Prostitution is the world's oldest profession.
Politics is the second.

But the second sure does remind me a lot of the first.

I think President Reagan said something to that effect.

Reid always has the "reconciliation" option as a last resort, than just 51 are needed.

It may be almost ankle grabbing time.... >:(

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.

Yea, and this bill certainly fits the criteria to invoke that provision.  Let's hope that doesn't happen and someone, anyone, can get to the moderate bluedogs...
