I heard that on one of Jeff Quinn's Shot videos. The mares leg should be easy to get approved. Just rifle the barrel and give the ability to shoot .45 Colt. Works for the Bond derringer, the Judge and the Governor. Mare's leg is Manufactured as a pistol right? So are the .357's, .44's and 45's of the same gun.

I wouldn't mind a 45/410 Mare's leg.  ;D

Late word is ATF has CAPPED the Taurus 28 gauge Raging Judge revolver...

(word is that they capped the SBR Rossi Lever 410 also!)

No great loss on the Taurus, I mean a 4 plus pound 7" revolver is too big for SD and I see no other use for it. Shame about the Mare's leg though. Still, both SHOULD be legal. There is zero reason to ban them. Just another example of how prohibition of guns or drugs eats away at individual rights. Al Capone is probably laughing.

I could see a VERY good need for the Rossi, hell I wanted one for the truck!  (for the zombies, dammit! Just in case the redneck landmines didn't work!)

If you are a crook and willing to commit murder and armed robery, you can make one in about 30 seconds for the price of a hacksaw. Of all the idiotic gun restrictions on the books this has got to make the top five. It is unenforceable on its face.

You think they BUY the hacksaw???

"Why are you carrying a pistol?  Expecting trouble?"

"No Maam.  If I was expecting trouble, I'd have a rifle."
