A small spring in the eyeball , could happen. I Use a large freezer bag to contain small parts and springs They are large enough for you to work on the pistol (?) inside it, but keeps things from "escaping".

Actually, using a plastic bag to contain the springs is IN the Beretta Armorer manual and class for removing the safety. A guy from a NJ Dept said the infamous "I don't need to do THAT." and shot the spring across the classroom, proving why.

Never Heard that bag trick before, but (As someone who has launched a spring or two across a couple rooms when working on guns.) That's a good idea.
