good guy or not TomB, Armitage was the leak about Plame, the MSM covered for him, threw Libby to the lions, and good or not, took the cover and walked away scott free..

I'm of 2 opinions on this, I agree with the idea of free press, and I think it imperative that, with all the Partisan BS put out , the historical record should be preserved accurately.
What I disagree with is releasing the information while it is still useful to any one besides historians.
There was a time when the press had a sense of responsibility, such as not showing FDR being lifted from his car.

Just because the right and capability exist, doesn't always mean it is necessary to be done.
Common sense should prevail (of course it usually doesn't).
