     That's actually been a point of contention with the Commandant of the Marine Corps, and he's decided we need to rededicate to it.  For awhile there, we just weren't focusing on competition like the other services.  That has now changed, and hopefully we'll start making a better showing at the matches.  

I'll leave that question for the "New Breed" to answer, in my day the Army sucked.
But I will say it might be because they discovered something besides full auto.

I posted it because I wasn't sure if there was anything he did that passed for acceptable by anyone else...  He did manage to not shoot himself!     That's a plus!

My thought is to skip this video and go directly to the Todd Jarrett instructional video.  He teaches the most sound basics that I've personally ever seen.

Fundamentals are what you should be practicing most.  Everything else works itself out if one uses sound, tried and trued basic fundamentals, just like my daddy taught me.
