Thank you bulldog
Right back at you, but is there anywhere we can give something cheap and real? Last year, when my step dad was still here, one of the secretaries in his office had a son in Iraq. She suggested a care package to his platoon as the law offices Christmas Charity project. It was enthusiastically adopted and the 12 gauge and bong were dinged, but basically, folks got to give low dollar, but useful stuff. A ten dollar frisbee here, was gold in Iraq. Everything from baby wipes, to advil, to M@Ms, to gift cards from the I Tune store, to "bore cleaner" in Lexan bottles, which smelled just a bit like JD (my contribution).

The thing is you cn't send directly to a soldier you don't know for obvious reasons. Still ,it would be nice if there was an outfit that would let you send a cigar or gameboy cartridge or just a new pair of socks to one of our guys and girls without the bureacratic BS.
FQ13 who is tapped out on toys for tots, but thinks it would be nice if we could send $25 worth of junk from Wally World to a soldier in Afghanistan who would really appreciate it.
