Here is my new RRA 6.8 Mid-length Rifle and my Varmit Upper.  Now I just have to get ammo and head to the range.

Somehow, plain old "ooooh's and aaaaah's" don't do it justice.    ;)

Yep a plain old Ar-15 lower, and the you can use standard AR-15 mags but you have to change out the follower.  I found some 6.8 mags online for about 12 a piece on gunbroker.

Man, I thought I was going to get off easy by getting a 6.8 upper for my DPMS to use for hunting.  Imagine my surprise when I found out "The Great Hunting State" (PA) has such archaic hunting laws that 'black powder rifle' means FLINTLOCK ONLY! Percussion cap and inline are allowed only during regular rifle season, and semi-autos are completely banned.

Even my communist neighbor state to the north (NY) allows semis w/ limited cap mags, ARs included.
Anti: I think some of you gentleman would choose to apply a gun shaped remedy to any problem or potential problem that presented itself? Your reverance (sic) for firearms is maintained with an almost religious zeal. The mind boggles! it really does...

Me: Naw, we just apply a gun-shaped remedy to those extreme life threatening situations that call for it. All the less urgent problems we're willing to discuss.

GA, as many others, uses the term "muzzle loader".   I think the courts have ruled in our state, the powder, bullet and ignition system are irrelevant, as long as the powder and bullet are loaded through the muzzle.

Sorry about the semi-auto ban.

Will work for ammo

PA is the reason Remington makes a pump rifle.
""It may be laid down as a primary position, and the basis of our system, that every Citizen who enjoys the protection of a free Government, owes not only a proportion of his property, but even his personal services to the defence of it, and consequently that the Citizens of America (with a few legal and official exceptions) from 18 to 50 Years of Age should be borne on the Militia Rolls, provided with uniform Arms, and so far accustomed to the use of them, that the Total strength of the Country might be called forth at a Short Notice on any very interesting Emergency." - George Washington.
