I'm gonna say an expansion of the SR9 line.  A compact model...maybe models in .40 or .45.... .380?  Redesigned trigger mechanism?

Could be resurrection of the M-1 carbine???  Not a stretch when you look at the Ranch Gun actions.  This all from the M-14 and Garand talk before.

50 BMG Maybe? ? ?

Maybe that's it....an affordable 50 BMG for the masses.  I'll go out on a limb...big announcement that would be it.  SR9..an addendum not a big announcement.  Yup...we will know in 21 hours.

WW II Garands were produced with both Birch as well as Walnut stocks. There actually is some nice looking Birch, but not the stuff Ruger uses on it's Wal-Mart 10/22's. Walnut looks so much richer. I believe you can get replacement Garand stocks today in both Birch and Walnut.  Bill T.

If you have even a grain of optimism left Phil, you will say that in regards to gun laws, we are ahead of the times. The thing is that unlike te UK, Canada and Oz (I don't know about NZ), our gun laws have gotten more liberal in the last decade. 20 years ago, concealed carry wasn't an option in most states, now it is. The 2A was just recently nationalized, and EBRs, which were once kept in the back of the shop with the porno mags, are now front and center.You're not 24 hours ahead of us, but 364 days behind. ;D
