I wore a shoulder holster with my 1958 Colt Detective Special in it on my wedding day

You have to watch stuff like that. About 14 years ago I had a pretty rough time in the Milwaukee airport (I know, a real monster of an airport). The elderly security guys (pre TSA) had a freakin' FIT when I dropped my 45LC cigar cutter in the basket with my keys and change. One guy grabbed it, held it up and yelled (REALLY yelled), "Live round, live round"!!! I tried to tell him, "No, it's a cigar cutter-  I'll show you"  but he wouldn't hand it to me to let me show him. I guess he thought I might poke the primer with my finger and shoot him- I don't know. After about 20 minutes I was allowed to continue WITH the cutter, and told that I shouldn't be carrying something like that.
These days they would take it and put me on the watch list.
I got the blues as my companion.
