Side rant:  I said that phrase and a couple schoolkids just twisted their heads and gave me that look.  Do we not teach ANY American history anymore???

OK...I'll be first Californian to respond...

Hell Yeah we are listening.

So, Boxer is under serious pressure. She is challenged by Carly Fiorina and Chuck Devore. Polls show that Fiorina is three points behind and Devore is 6-7 points behind. I don't like Fiorina...she's a victim. Hopefully you know what I mean by that. Devore seems good and will get my money and vote in the primary. If Fiorina wins in the primary then I'll have to vote for her just to get rid of Boxer. People are seriously upset with Babs. I think we'll win that seat.

Looks like Moonbeam is the only not anti-gun candidate for Governer. Meg Whitman, a Republican that ran ebay, says that the AWB and gun control and ammo control are good for California. Republican Steve Poizer hasn't said a thing about it. His silence is deafening.

Will any of this affect our anti 2A laws? Hard to say.

 according to what I saw in Rasmussen Di Fi wants to be Gov. but Jerry Brown polls better against the Republicans.
We need to get BO to go out there and drum up support   ;D

Just like Obama, it really depends on who runs against him.  McCain lost before he even got out of the gate.

Di Fi isn't well thought of around here either...painted with the same tar brush as Babs. Moonbeam polls better since he is not seen to be involved in the national scene and people think he is doing a good job as AG. The RC has to find someone that is a solid conservative (Tom Campbell anyone?) and is not a RINO. Then that person has to run a solid campaign that gets the OC and LA conservatives to come out in droves at the polls and gets the red half of the state, the Central Valley, Sierras, and Nor Cal, out in force as well. I'm really stuck in who to vote for for Governor. I'll probably write in Campbell.

 One of the things that helps Jerry Brown immensely is that it has been so long since He served as Gov. Most voters will not remember how his policies worked (or didn't work )  In fact, since he left Office nearly 30 years ago a significant number of voters were not even born then.
