you don't need to replace anything to tune a gun, something as simple as honing the mating surfaces can make a huge diffrence.
Actually there are several very rational reason why I don't like glocks.
lets forget get all the stuff that is subjective. Lets focus on the things that are platform related.
safety.
they have none,
you have to pull the trigger to take apart the gun( yeah safe handling rules should cover this, but we all know that people don't awalys fallow the rules)
also you can not run a 1911 is ssp/ stock pistol.
its alot like super stock drag racing, the rules on bore spacing will only let you run either a bbc, smaller mopars of FE style ford blocks. You can't for example run a 460 ford. So if you want to run a ford, you are stuck with a 65 year old engine design that has zero after market racing parts, not to mention the fact that the bigest motor you can build will still be well over 200 CI smaller then one you can build with a chevy or a mopar. yet people claim, that the BBC is the best motor and cite this racing class as proof.
