I'm sure there was very little in that gone that did not get replaced/ custom fited.

I also think you could hand him any gun and he could kick ass with it after some practice.

He probably would do well.

He did, however, choose the firearm he felt would give him the greatest edge.  Or maybe he got it as a gift?

he is the leader of team glock, he gets paid to shoot a glock.

Here's the thing about Glocks. They are monkey simple. Compare them to 1911s. Everybody and their dog makes a 1911 and they're a zillion custom shops that will fine tune yours. You can buy God's own number of custom barrels, trigger groups, grips etc. How much of ths stuff is offered for the Glock?  When did you last see someone offer a "custom" Glock? The reason is that it doesn't need it. This isn't Quaker drinking kool-aid, its just looking at the marketplace. If there were a demand for fancy custom glocks some one would get rich meeting that demand, likely several someones. That isn't the case. This should tell you something.

I would not be so sure about that. 

I have little doubt that there have been more NDs with glocks then there have with 1911.  and the 1911 has 70+ years on glock.

A big part of that is LEOs shooting themselfs,  Our local SO was average 3 a year, when they had glocks, since they switched to sigs, they have only had 1.  its been about 5 years.

When the NJ State Police went from HK-P7 to Sig P228 they had a rash of NO's because troopers had to learn a new way to decock their pistols.  I would consider this a training issue not a pistol design issue

I hate Glocks purely on asthetic shortcomings and the "brotha" effect, but cannot say enough about the simplicity and dependability of teh Glock.  As for safety, every gun is as safe or dangerous as teh hand it is in.  My M&P in my hand is just as safe as a 1911 because i am not an idiot.

Wow that is some great shooting...and also...WOW there sure are some very strong opinions on glocks. I myself like them and ccw a glock 27, why, well it doesnt jam(most important) and as long as I dont crack the frame I can fix the gun, parts are easy to get, etc.  I also shoot 1911's , xd's, browning buckmarks, ruger 22's etc.  Glocks work plain and simple, they dont need a safety, teh safety is the shooter keeps his finger off the damn trigger til ready to fire.  ND's with glocks are a training issue more than anything.  YMMV, but I am a glock fan.
