Took forever to down load the thing, but it was informative. It would have been better if the guys had alternated guns so you were seeing apples to apples, but still worthwhile. I guess I agree with the conclusion. 2 good guns, but the Glock didn't jam. ;D

FQ, with all of Nutnfancy's reviews (which I think are excellent and I really enjoy) you have the ability to select 480p or 360p play mode.  I always opt for 360p as the downloads are much quicker and consequently smooth with out many stoppages, if at all.  Perhaps this factor contributed to the slow download you experienced.

For someone who claims to be impartial in his reviews he is really a glock fanatic. It would be nice if he didn't try to compare EVERYTHING to a Glock. I get that it's pretty much the standard but really? There have been several reviews he's done that the comparison was apples and oranges by nature. So of course everything looks inferior to Glock when your talking about two totally different guns designed for two totally different uses. Not bashing the guy I just get annoyed watching him pit everything against the same gun. To prevent myself from being a hypocrite I do that with the M&P because it's all I have to compare to. But I also qualify it by saying that I am hardcore S&W too. He is detailed that's for sure. But please don't put yourself (nutnfancy) on a pedestal because of the NUTNFANCY PROJECT. On the flip side I don't see many of those TNP basher's out there doing this amount of work to review and compare the hardware NUTNFANCY does.

Interesting review, but not a good comparison.  A customized, broken-in Glock versus a gun store rental XDm with no lube.  Like others have said, it appears that he sets other guns up to fail against the Glock, or maybe he just doesn't know how to set up good comparisons.  Not sure, this is the first video of his that I have seen.

Doing a little research before I posted a comment helped out. Nutnfancy likes Glocks but in other reviews he raves about the exclent M&P pistols. As for the XD's there are more than one video where guys bring there own XDs and they fail misserblly. The glock may not be your choice but at least respect the guy for doing a good job of reviewing and posting his results on his own dime. If a guy or gal is going to take the time and effort to put together a review we can respectfully agree or disagree. If you or your buddies disagree so much that you are insulted than make a video and post it......say here on DRTV.

Tex has it right.  Nutnfancy does like the Glock and uses the Glock (specifically the Glock 17) as the standard by which he compares other similar handguns (SR9, S&W M&P, XDm, etc.) that he reviews.  As Tex points out, he not only praises the Glock, but also praises the S&W M&P.  This is true of the Sig P226 and H&K as well.

Also, if you watch his reviews, you will see that Nutnfancy approaches his reviews of handguns as well as other items he reviews from a "tactical" viewpoint.  For instance, he places a lot of importance on the weight of the handgun, the number of rounds available, the durability of the handgun, the reliability of the handgun, and the accessories available (like lasers, lights, magazines, aftermarket sights, etc.).

I for one appreciate Nutnfancy's reviews.  He puts a lot of time into his reviews (his own time) and I find that his reviews are very thorough (I like that he uses a set of written talking points), clearly filmed (good video quality), and very informative.  I especially like it when he compares the various similar handguns.  You just have to remember that he is presenting from one viewpoint, and some features of a handgun that are important to him may not necessarily be important to you.

Personally, I do not own a Springfield XD or XDm, but I do own a Glock 17 and a Sig P226 (9mm).  If I had to choose one, I would choose the Sig over the Glock everytime.  I know several guys who own the XD and they love them.  It just goes to prove that the handgun you choose to shoot is a very personal choice.

Yes he is very detailed in his reviews and he doesn't rip other manufacturers but again my point is simple. I gets to be annoying watching every review and seeing every gun compared to a Glock. I'm not ragging on the job he does at all. I am simply pointing out my opinion of how he comes off to me. Watching his coverage of Shot is got old listening to him talk about his Nutnfancy Project as if he was God's gift to the firearms industry and that he knows how all the various manufacturer's should make their product. I have worked in retail a long time in various capacities and I have had many people come in and talk to me like he does to the vendors and it just leaves a bad taste in your mouth. I get that he looks at everything from a single vantage point and that's his right and I applaud him for the work and effort he does. And Tex I don't see how what I said in any way came off that I was insulted by his review. I simply said that it can get annoying. And yes I did make my own reviews and I point out where I disagree with him. So don't read into what I said what's not there.

He's doing these on his own dime, so he can do whatever he wants.  And I can see using a Glock to compare other polymer pistols to, as they were the first popular polymer pistol.  Should probably use a stock Glock rather than a tricked out gun, but whatever, take it for what it is.
