Love my LCP and I am sure you will too. Enjoy. Practice. Enjoy some more.
Practice isn't a problem.  I work at a gun shop with an indoor range and get to shoot at no charge.  I get a discount on ammo, too.  It is a hard place to work for a guy in "job transition."

Thanks for the advice on the holster.  Good food for thought.  The guy who makes the wallet holster also makes pocket holsters.

You should also take MB advise and go with the Crimson trace laser. For $159 shipped, you cant go wrong. Love mine and it goes with me everywhere i go! Good luck with yours.

Yep, lookin' at that, too.  I just found out I can get a sweet deal on CT, too.

Funny, for some reason, I was having that thought too. :D

I guess I could change my handle to "donthateme."  The problem with working in a gun shop is I have so many things I want to buy and so little money.  Many of the manufacturers have purchase programs for gun shop employees to buy product below dealer cost.  They want the employees using the products and, if possible wear them at work.  We all open carry in the store so customers can see the type of gun, holster, belt, flashlight and other accessories we have.

I'm talking about Springfield, Kimber, S&W, Walther, Surefire, Crimson Trace, Leupold, Trijicon, Ruger and others.  So even at the reduced cost my list of stuff I want far exceeds my budget.

WatchMan, see if you can get some MagTech 77 gr. SCHP ammo for your LCP.  Accurate and easy shooting.  Big HP.  I also carry a spare mag (loaded with WWB) in my pocket but am looking for a knife sheath to carry it on my belt.  Tried other ammo but trust the MT 100%.

For Californians, FuzDaddy, peruse the CALguns.net site. We can buy this gun in PPT/FTF sales but we cannot buy this gun new from the shop. So, if an LEO owns one, since they can buy off list handguns, and wants to sell it, we can buy it from him, or if someone moves into the State with it, and wants to sell it, we can buy it. I've tried a couple of times but always been beat out by someone quicker. They don't last long! It is a weird loophole but it is there...we can buy off list handguns through private party transfers but not new at the gun shop...although the transfer still has to be completed at the shop and the handgun still has to stay for ten days in "jail". And the CALguns.net private party sales page is a great resource for used firearms.
Otherwise, get an on list handgun with similar qualities!

I'm not sure if I can post my price in a public forum.  I don't want to mess up the program for me or others.  I'm sure there are people from Ruger on this site.
