I dont think he was asking for "cooking wines" ;D

Ah, but I've been accused of being half-baked, so cooking wines work well with me.

They say that you should never cook with a wine you wouldn't drink.   ;)

stay away from the goon sacks

I am very lucky  I have a winery about 3 minute drive away

I am about 20 minutes to the Barossa Valley ( takes me an hour to get to work )   and also have McLaren Vale  about an hour and a half

these are some of the best wine regions in Australia

I just don't know what we send over,   the other issue is they would be bulk wines  and not the little ones like we get

2 of my favourites are http://www.langmeilwinery.com.au/  and http://www.foxcreekwines.com/ ( have a lot more I like as well  )
the Mrs normally has Sauvignon Blanc    and I don't mind them   we are just getting in to Shiraz's
Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. The only thing you can’t do is ignore them

I remember back in Junior High, a few quarts of Welches grape juice, a package of yeast and a warm garage attic!   ;D

Went down a lot easier than it came back up!   :P   ;D

Speaking of high school, let us never forget the "Purple Jesus". One five gallon bucket, halved oranges, ice, grape kool-aid and Everclear. God, I think I can still taste the morning after hairy tongue. ;D

I just had a flashback of the beaches of Truman Annex, Key Waste, FL.....belladonna leaves from Hemmingways front yard and fuzzy memories of a few lost days.  Darn, some of those I wish I could get back

the Everclear fruity punch on the veranda of the Enlisted Club, not so much....

 ;D
