Welcome, Lone.
Dude! It was two freaking iguanas and they have both gone on to their reward courtesy of German engineering. (Thank you Diana werks, .22 at 850 fps and the hibiscus munchers are no mas ).  I swear Peg, that if you keep this persecution up, I will buy a  "Have A Heart" trap and fed ex the bastards to you. At work. I may suck at youtube video implants, but I'm not too bad at google. Just sayin'. "Mr Peg? There are two three foot long lizards here for you labeled urgent? Can you come down please"? ;D ;D ;D

See what I've been trying to explain to you FQ ?

There can be great personal enjoyment in being an AZZHOLE, even if only in visualizing the look on Peg's face  ;D
But since Peg is a REAL Southern Man he probably has something for the situation that you just can't seem to manage,.......

A  recipe   ;D ;D ;D

Tastes about like owl.    :P
"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison

Little on the chewy side. Cast iron skillet with bacon grease and garlic salt and pepper with a side of squirrel.

Discard the iguana ad squirrell and eat the bacon and garlic and I'm right there with you. ;D Scary thing? But it's  worth mentioning here, is that squirrel can carry KJ or Mad Cow disease (which which is not a pretty way to die) if you eat their brains, and iguanas often carry sallomenella on their skin. It doesn't stop the folks in Southern Mexico or Central America, or the rednecks in Applachia from eating them. But I would say squrriell brains are a no go, as are Igunas, no matter how many reciipes there are. Tastes like chicken my ass. ;D The longer you chew it, the more it tastes like iguana. And that's never a good thing. My advice? Mail them alive to Tom, Peg and Eric. That way,  you've done your duty and have helped a board member cross another cuilinary  threshold. Just don't mail the damn things to me as I have plenty.  :-\

Iguana, dipped in egg and floured, then fried in lard and served with a portion of beans (not refried, just beans) is sort of a staple on Roatan, Honduras, where Bunny and I had the pleasure of living for most of one year.  It is not awful.  It's not awful good, either.  Or maybe it was the homegrown herb that made it so tasty.  Or the Flor de Cana Rum. Or maybe it wasn't that tasty.  But, it definitely didn't taste like Col. Sanders--yet there is a subtle chicken-like flavor.  Locals called it "bamboo chicken."  They were NOT the marine iguana, but the tree iguana.  I suspect the marine version would not be at all good.  FWIW ;)
“I’ve lived the literal meaning of the ‘land of the free’ and ‘home of the brave.’ It’s not corny for me. I feel it in my heart. I feel it in my chest. Even at a ball game, when someone talks during the anthem or doesn’t take off his hat, it pisses me off. I’m not one to be quiet about it, either.”  Chris Kyle
