Gates and Jobs are thieves from the 70's and they've been stealing ideas for decades.  Jobs stole the icon based ideas from Texas Instruments in the early 70's.  Gates bought (stole) DOS from a guy in Seattle for 50K.  IBM back engineered a BIOS chip from Compaq.....it goes on and on and on.....

The entire computer industry reminds me of our current congress.  There ain't an honest person running any of those companies.

Do you think this is something new ? look into some of the legal battles Edison was involved in, like the feud with Tesla.

Years ago I heard that 90% of all software was made to run on Windows and 10% was made to run on Mac. Any truth to that? I see some games and other programs that are Windows only or that run on both systems and I don't see much just for Mac. Maybe I'm not looking hard enough.

There is still considerably more software for Windows than Mac. However there is a large market of Mac software online and in big retailers. Just in the Apple store there is a lot of software and games that I thought could only be had for Windows. The cool thing about Mac now is that they all run on Intel made processors making it real easy to run any Windows software on any Apple computer. Macs are excellent dual operating system machines. I can run on my little MacBook the normal MacOSX and Windows Vista simultaneously. So it could be said that there is more software out there for Mac when you factor in this extra trick. Plus when I unboxed my Mac I didn't have to add a single software to accomplish the tasks I needed and I am not a simple user. I recently added Microsoft Office because my school required it but I could have got by with the Mac equivalent seeing as how I can save in Office formats from the included software. On a side note: When the new Mac operating system came out the upgrade only cost $30 instead of say upgrading from XP to Vista or Vista to W7 which was usually $100 at the cheapest. And a full function office suite on the Mac only cost $60 versus $300 for the Microsoft Office Standard package.
