This will be worse on a national basis simply because Massachusetts by in large is an affluent state. When the federal government finds itself having to FORCE insurance companies to cover every sick, broke, uneducated, unemployed or under employed, minority in the United States, please don't be so foolish to think it will be done cheaper, if in fact it can be done at all. The MA State Treasurer (D) has predicted that this bill will bankrupt the US within 5 years.  WITHOUT Federal money, Massachusetts would never be able to handle the additional costs involved in our CURRENT social health system.  We've been bleeding money since Romney signed the bill four years ago.

Health care does need to be reformed but not at the cost of 2 trillion $$'s that tax payers don't have! I also think it should have been done piece mill. Not all at once like this. Change something then see if it works, then change something else. If it doesn't work try something different. With the way they did it I think it's going to fail and their not going to know what to change and what to leave alone!  Some people will see a benefit soon, but we will all suffer later!

You are not alone, I assure you. I was born and raised in and around the city of Chicago. I spent 38 years of my life there watching how the Richard J. Daly Chicago, Democratic "Machine" works and operates.

It is without question the absolute most nauseating, corrupt form of government I have ever had the displeasure to witness. Most people in this country have zero idea just what a bunch of lying, thieving, worthless, sub human POS, "politicians", that city "graduates". Hussein learned well, and came in at the head of his class.

Corruption is a government certified way of life in that stink hole of a socialist city. Property taxes are the highest in the midwest to support all of the graft and socialist give away programs to the minorities. All designed to keep them in power by simply buying votes with socialistic pandering. Otto Kerner, Dan Walker, Rod "Blago" Blagojevich, Roland Burris, Barack Hussein Obama, the list of tramps and thieves is all but endless. All have either served time in prison, or soon will, (Blago). Our socialist leader honed his political skills in this cesspool of common political criminals.

Look for "immigration reform" to be next on his list. By catering to all of these worthless illegals he will be pandering to enough people to help keep the socialist dems in power for many future generations, and in the process turn this country into a third world nation. About the only hope left are the people you see pissed off on your screen each and every night. Killing off these socialist vermin in November is just the start. Like ants, termites and assorted other pests, there are plenty more where they came from, and plenty of stupid A-Holes who cannot think for themselves to pander to. Hey Bill, Chicago has nothing on Boston, Granted your Governors seem to leave office in handcuffs, but when Micheal Curley was Mayor of Boston they used to hold City Council meetings in his cell.
Curley at least had the charm of just being an old time Irish crook politician, like Billy Bulger.

I was THIS close to voting for a democrat this fall.  Markey had been voting exactly the way I would have (she is a Blue Dog).  Until sunday, when she voted FOR this health care bill.  It'll be interesting to see what the NRA rates her.
