It used to be that when you broke the law, like being an illegal alien, your Rights were severely restricted.

I would love to confirm the accuracy of this statement, but it just ain't so.  We extend constitutional rights to anyone on our soil.  It's not right.  But that's the way it is.  We SHOULD deport the bastards.  But we don't.  It's time to return America to Ameicans. AZ may be leading the way.  Thank God for Joe Arpaio and the AZ legislature.

So now, in response to those critics, lawmakers have removed “lawful contact” from the bill and replaced it with “lawful stop, detention or arrest.” In an explanatory note, lawmakers added that the change “stipulates that a lawful stop, detention or arrest must be in the enforcement of any other law or ordinance of a county, city or town or this state.”

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- One Upstate lawmaker has proposed a bill similar to the controversial immigration law recently passed in Arizona.

If passed, the law proposed by state Rep. Eric Bedingfield, a Republican from Mauldin, would give police the right to pull someone over if they have probable cause and ask the person for identification that proves they are legal U.S. citizens.

La Nueva's radio DJ, Juan Jose, has been fielding calls from the Hispanic community since the law making it a crime to be in the U.S. illegally passed in Arizona. Now, he said he is worried a similar law could become a reality in South Carolina.

But some, like John Gaines, said they would support the change.

"We tell these people, 'Look, you don't belong here in South Carolina, we want you out. You're not American citizens,'" said Gaines, who is part of South Carolina's Minutemen group. "Come in the right way, and we'll welcome you. But if you don't come in the right way, stay at home."

Bedingfield said the bill was an effort to "reduce the overall cost of government spending, reduce drug- and street-level crime, and an effort to put South Carolinians back to work."

Bedingfield said he welcomes all immigrants who are in the country legally.

The bill is still in committee at this point and needs to move through both the House and Senate for a vote.

Bedingfield said that he requested that the bill be placed on the House's calendar on Thursday, but that request was denied.

Though I'm not one of your constituents, I fully support your efforts to make legal entry into this country mandatory.  Far too many years have lapsed since American's stood together to fight for what is right, just and neccessary to protect the proud Nation we once were and can be again!

I heard it several times again today "Protests this weekend in Phoenix, and organizers are hoping for huge crowds to show support for the elimination of the law that will allow Arizona Law Enforcement to arrest illegal immigrants."

Can you people even hear yourselves when you say the phrase "Illegal Immigrants?"  Do you understand what the word ILLEGAL means? 

If we are going to make illegal ok, I think I'll go and illegally withdraw money from the bank and file an illegal tax return!
