........In politics seldom does the best man win
It seems to me we get what we (as a nation) deserve. The good (us) get to suffer with the bad (them other guys) when the bad get the say on things.
It's not over for Fred yet. He needs to hang in...in my area people are just getting to the point where they are willing to say 2 words about the presidential race. There are quite a few months left so
there's no need to write off mispeak, history, sickness and/or scandal as vehicles to overtake the supposed front runners.
My work this week is to write to the head of the Republican National Party with condolensces (sp??) for losing the presidential race by taking the 2nd Ammendment people for granted and for for stabbing us in the back through the RINO proxy of George W. Bush.
Remind me and I'll post whatever it is I end up writing this week. I'm also going to write to my two US Senators, despite the fact they are two of the strongest 2nd Ammendment supporter in Congress, to ask them to remind the Republican party leaders that the appreciation for stabbing gun owners in the back will be shown at the ballot box.
The Republican Party needs to know, no
they need to be certain, that they can kiss off our votes by running the wrong guy. If you guys are called by a polling organization, please make a statement supporting the 2nd Ammendment and totally refuting all options that are not 2nd Ammendment friendly. I can guarantee that if 20 or 30 guys out of 1000 refuse to follow the polling lead (would you favor Rudy, Mitt or John--without mention of Fred or Huck) and have the same story the impact of consistency to refuse to answer a simple question for a principle will get back to the "handlers".
