I would go with an FNP over the FNX. The fully ambidextrous FNX needs some extra love to seat the magazine all the way....it needs to go up & forward.
"Firearms stand next in importance to the Constitution itself. They are the American people's liberty, teeth and keystone under independence. The church, the plow, the prairie wagon and citizens' firearms are indelibly related. From the hour the pilgrims landed to the present day, events, occurrences and tendencies prove that, to ensure peace, security and happiness, the rifle and pistol are equally indispensable. Every corner of this land knows firearms, and more than 99 and 99/100 percent of them by their silence indicate that they are in safe and sane hands. The very atmosphere of firearms anywhere and everywhere restrains evil influence. They deserve a place of honor with all that's good. When firearms go, all goes. We need them every hour." George Washington

I liked the way the m&p felt in my hand, it also pointed well for me.  The xdm while flet good in my hand, it did not point well for me.  I've never got to fondel a cz 75.

I have a CZ-75B too and I would rate it at, or near the top of the 9mm list.

Also looking for a Glock 26 without FG's for carry.
Sorry to disappoint you Ellis, but the Glock 26/27 line was never made without the grooves. They're actually quite useful, even when they don't exactly fit your hand, because the grip is pretty short and most people have at least one finger hang off.

There is only one firearm on the list that I'm allowed to buy in MA and because of that, I don't want it.

If I had the entire list available to me, I'd probably buy the Glock but in a smaller frame more suitable for daily carry.  There are also several affordable 1911 frame guns in 9mm that you should consider if you like the platform.

I know that this will probably stir the pot, but you might also check out the SR9c. I "fondled" one at the range a couple of months ago and it was a definite improvement over the SR9 full size that I looked at last year. The trigger was crisp and light, and it shot directly to POA without any idiosyncracies. It came with a 10 and a 17 rd magazine.
The guy that owned it let my try it out in the holster I was packin (IWB) and it felt great. It's not on the list, but you may want to try it.

I hit the FN button but keep looking at the CZs.  I already have the Glock and the M&P.

I think the moral of this story is the same as with all similar threads. All the guns listed are good. You won't go too far wrong with any of them. Now go exploit the "rental loophole" and spend a Saturday figuring which you like best. It'll be a hundred bucks well spent, and a fun day on the range. Only contrary advice is that I wouldn't hesitate to buy a used Glock (hell I sold a G-17 with several thousand rounds through it and couldn't tell any functional difference from when it was new. That was about a year ago and I've never heard a complaint from the buyer, event though I offered a money back guarantee. :)). That saves you money. Its probably true of the others. I just don't have the experience with them to make that call.

If I were to get another 9MM I'd get the XD.  Springfield Armory's warranty is great.  No matter what caliber all the XD's all use the same holsters. It fits in my hand like my 1911's

I'm not a fan of the XDM's grips.

I have to go with G19 for its balance and reliablity. It never fails to go bang.
