This does upset me to the 9's. But lets take it from a different slant, we have so many signs we are supposed to obey everyday, stop signs, school zones, slow traffic, etc.. and traffic lights, red stop, green go, and yellow, run like hell to beat it, ( tongue in cheek ), the U.S. Flag has much the same rules, raised high, all systems go, mid mast, someone of respect has passed, upside down, in distress, it has long established rules, and they should be made into law, the same as a stop sign being removed or run over, or ignored, you get a ticket for not following the RULES. Etiquette, no different than our normal warning signs, but seldom enforced, slow men crossing,, etc.. a foreign flag above ours means this place has been occupied by unfriendly forces, and should be dealt with, like this brave man did. Our flag and the flags of other countries are part of communication, done visually, and no matter how ignorant, soldiers are taught what it means, and others who use our flag without real knowledge, and desecrate it are criminals. This was private property, and they can do what they want, But, I think if they ever accept the flag, then they need to get permission to remove it.
Let the games begin and Happy 4th, independence day, may our flags wave high.
