Not real sure how to take that from a guy with a Skull and Cross Bones for an avatar.
Either you hate your life and wish it on your foes, or you are soft on Eco-Aholes.
Not sure which  ;D

Tombogan03884,    I am the type of person who dislikes Hypocrits....If you play the game then you had best be prepared for the resulting consequences.   These Sea Shepherds are Environmental Terrorists and as such should be treated as such.
I watch Whale Wars for the same reason I suspect many others on these forums watch it.  Waiting for the episode that shows the Bob Barker and the Steve Irwin joining the Ady Gil at the bottom of the Sea...<----Not unlike those who watch Nascar for the crashes...I happily admit it.  I only hope that when it happens...and I believe it will that the actions of these so called Shepherds don't end up killing anyone.

If you get a chance to DVR the episode where the Ady Gil is sent to the bottom of the sea...rewind and take a close look at the Japenese footage of the moment of impact.  The camera angle being above the Ady gives one a better view of the collision. I don't believe the Ady wasn't sitting still as the Shepherds would have us believe from their edited footage....Much like the infamous staged shooting of Paul Watson incident.
You can see the tell tale white plume from the forward propulsion at the stern of the Ady as if that boat were intentionally driven into the the Whaler under power.  I believe they were attempting to as the captain put it...Brush the Whaler, but an over zealous engineer...who mysteriously was the only person left below at the time...misjudged and gave the Ady a little too much throttle.
I have always been taught that the more agile boat is responsible for giving way to larger and harder to steer ships.  The Ady Gil had the responsibility to avoid this collision but didn't because they were seeking attention from the media by terroristic tactics and such provocations...
How do we respond when idiots treat us this way?
Their (being the Sea Shepherds aka...Environmental Terrorists) dangerous actions and tactics should be met with enough direct and decisive force to neutrilize and prevent further endangerment of HUMAN life.   Personally I think a harpoon bolt hitting just above the waterline would get the point across and give them a fighting chance for limping back to port...If not then Pirates they all are and as such should suffer a Pirates fate.

You hit the nail on the head when comparing the two footages.  The Ady's footage made you believe that they had run out of fuel and were sitting and waiting for the Sea Shepherd for assistance.  The Bob Barker is leaving them behind, and saying see you later while the Sea Shepherd is still 500+ miles away.  However, the footage from the Japanese ship shows that the Ady Gil was moving ... really moving!  They appeared to be showing as much wake as ever shown in any Whale Wars footage.  Top that with the shots from the Bob Barker where the harpoon vessel appeared to be steering clear to port of both vessels, and then the Ady is suddenly in front of the harpoon vessel.  Me thinks that a runt played chicken with the big bull and lost.

I agree with what appears to be the general direction on here:  Take necessary actions for the dangers presented to you.
If I appear taller than other men it is because I am standing on the shoulders of others.

I put all of these people into much the same category as the drunk Aussie who climbed into the Crocodile cage to ride "Fatso". I don't want to see harm come to anyone, but when you're all but begging for it............ Oh well. Most of these people desperately need, but do not have, a hobby. Like Al Pacino said to his worthless wife in "Scarface", "Why don't you go work with blind kids or something?".    Bill T.

the SS  have made there boat to Ram other vessels with the hull strengthened  +  hack Spit  Paul Watson has gone on record about ramming vessels

they are ego terrorist  and should be treated like that...
Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. The only thing you can’t do is ignore them
