Sorry but I agree with Obama and the US. Heck look at all the people that were killed and injured with these weapons. I think we should get a lawyer and sue Obama and the US for the people that were killed and injured with these weapons in war.

Ummm.....Sarcasm?  ???

If it is, it is misplaced sarcasm, The South Koreans, where those guns did all that killing,  continue to show their appreciation for our troops with expense paid tours for them.
It's actually comical, every time North Korea starts rattling their saber the South invites the Korean War vets over for a little  stroll down memories DMZ
Makes you wonder just who's memory they wish to jog   ;D

I had read the M1 carbines were manufactured by Universal, not the coveted Rock-olas... It's a damn shame as the price for Garands, and the Carbines are getting to a premium.  :-[

I doubt very much, (though I do not KNOW ) that any care was taken about manufacturers. More likely some one was told "load up that warehouse and ship it to Korea." I would expect all WWII  makers to be represented. Also, there will not be any Universal as they were copies made strictly for the civilian market, all will be WWII vintage.

If I handed a m1 (c or g) to a "gangsta", They would hand it right back.  They want a ak( or anything that looks like them)  little do they know the power those rifles have.

I can see it now:

"it only holds 8 rounds, thats not enough"

"that small bullet can't hurt anything."

I personally would love to pick up another m1c.  I have 2 now,  one is my bed side gun.  It was the one weapon in my collection, that my wife both shoot well and it didn't "scare" her.  Well other then a 22.     Would somehting else be better, you bet, but this works and is alot better then something she is afraid of.

TAB hit on one thing I was going to bring up, Them ain't"Gangsta".
But, I have heard that a deal was made during WWII between the US Gov. and industry that the masses of equipment we were demanding, and sending overseas, would stay out of the country and NOT come back as "Surplus" to compete with future production.
I also regret hearing this as I would love to have a Garand some day.

Why, yes....I'm the right-wing extremist Obama warned you about... ;D

I just wish Texas was as free and independent as everyone thinks it is...   :'(

I thought it was supposed to work the other way around? ;D
FQ13 who would be highly amused to see guns coming north from Mexico. Finally something useful coming from there.
