Just got back from the polls. The board will be happy to note that the Quaker voted for only two Democrats, and none in national races. However I am pissed! No line, 8 people in the room voting, and this was at lunch time.

What in the HELL are people thinking? I can only hope that the low turnout reflects a lot of early and absentee voting. What gets me is that I live in a solid middle class, mostly white neighborhood with lots of seniors. Statistically, the most likely voters. Where were they? Oddly, most of the voters were black. First time I've seen that since '08. This was encouraging in the sense that they are actually getting to the polls. If BO did nothing else good he seems to have at least mobilized a group of folks who did more bitching than voting in the past. Still, it is not good news for the GOP. I have no idea how the state will break, but based on a totally unscientific snapshot of who showed up to vote at noon in a mostly white district? Well, I don't think its a good day for the GOP in my precinct.
