This is what you get at my house. REALLY good coffee flavored coffee. Although I will add that this stuff is like crack in a bean. Pour in a little Irish Cream (the alcoholic kind) and whoa baby! You can get smashed and still be vibrating.  ;D
:) There's a novel idea!  Coffee flavored coffee. That's my favorite too! The stronger the better. After drinking coffee in Italy and Spain, I like a good strong coffee flavor and the ass whoopin' that goes with it.

Let's be perfectly clear:

I don't drink it because I like it, I drink it because I need it.   ;D

Cowboy coffee in Canada, coffee with dates in the Gulf, coal tar bottoms in Romania, Dunkin Donuts stuff here in the USA.
Just give me the stinken mug in the morning and shut up till I'm done.

I buy from a local source here in Peru. they roast their own and if you want they will grind it for you, coarse, fine, whatever. good stuff. the best I've had though, came from Mombasa Kenya, fresh roasted, full body (strong) and REALLY tasty. Peru is a close second. maybe with a touch of amaretto and whiskey for the extra mmmmmmmmhhh. oh yeah, I use a french press just so I can get ALL the flavor out of the coffee grounds.

Fresh beans, ground right before brewing and a COFFEE press with approximately 205 degree water!  I can't find a decent coffee place here so I've been buying "Peets" from the market.  Pretty good brew, I leave the house every day with my go-cup and a industrial thermos filled to the top.  It lasts most of the day...

(using the F word pisses me off, there is not proof they invented it...)

I agree, though had I just said 'press' many would scratch their heads and get confused. (the fru-fru croud) but pressing coffee is a good way to get all the flavor from the grounds (other than campfire coffee)  ;D
I think it's time for another cup.....

If you haven't done so, check out vacuum brewing.  As does pressing, it mixes all the water with all the coffee at the same time and a good brewer will have less grounds in the coffee cup (not that grounds are a bad thing)  and you will feel like Mr. Science when you use it.

Pretty neat to see and hear the steam "percolating" through the water/coffee mix before the heat is removed.

There are men in all ages who mean to govern well, but they mean to govern. They promise to be good masters, but they mean to be masters."

I like my free coffeemaker from Gevalia. IMHO their coffee is quite good. It tastes great black. I can't say that about the coffee I used to get at the store. I  like every kind I've tried except the flavored coffee. I like coffee flavor better. I'm currently on Costa Rican peaberry. Next is Kenyan. I'm going in alphabetical order.  :)

I don't know about that. In my experience Kenyan is a little thin, lacks substance and is kind of winey. The last time I ordered Kenyan? It didn't work out so good. :-[ ;D
