bunch-o-shotguns.... nice stuff here. maybe worth looking into Alf, I mean, really, if you're already in the doghouse, may as well make it worth it, right?  ;D

WHEW - W - W - W - W.   You screwed up the link.

I think I've pushed my luck for the year.  No more auctions for a while.   She took the third gun really well.   As she says, my guns are better investment than her collectibles and worst case is she'll get her money back after I die. ( :-\   Not sure how to take that.  But heck, for the time being, I'll buy the gun, shoot it and then decide whether to keep or sell.    Worst case is I get to shoot it for a while, then even if I loose a few dollars, it was fun.

Some interesting stuff in the Irvine auction....thank God I don't need anything right now!

Waiting to see what the 7.62 Chi-Com pistol is going to go for with the docs from '69 to send it from Viet Nam to the states.
Another was the silver Nazi Iron Cross that weighed 55grams. I'm not into nazi stuff, but it's interesting....

Saw one Chi-Com went for $750.   There were some good deals.   At one time, I thought I wanted a Dan Wesson, but don't anymore.

I see doing a "search" covers all catalogs, so if you know something specific you can find out if it's in an upcoming auction.  Right now "Wesson" pretty much covers it for me.

I didn't know that! Well how much easier could it be.

Proxibid is more than bad. It's evil.
It's dark.
It's the siren's song that beckons my credit card into the rocks.

Man this is some fun stuff!

Sort of related to auctions and our Mosin threads.

At the Rush2Arms auction last night in Ohio  a Mosin sold for $170.....nothing special about it that was listed.  Add to that the auction fee and shipping and the buyer could have gotten 2 of them.

Another auction in GA.   Montrose, GA, in the middle of the state.

On-line bidding is out because of the 18% internet surcharge.

HOWEVER, the catalog is just fun to look at with over 850 firearms.   It's like browsing at a gun show but sitting in your easy chair.

Everything from tupperware to Merwin & Hulbert revolvers.  M1 receiver only!  Nagant revolvers.

I missed out on the Rock Island auction last weekend.  Wondering if anybody got in on the action.   I had written them to clarify the bidder fees and they shipped me a free catalog.   They also called last week as a reminder.

The next RIA auction is in May.  The catalog isn't complete, but from the pictures it looks pretty cool.
