SOG has 'em for $79.00 and it includes a sling, oiler, mag pouches and a pig sticker for the end!
About the same when you throw in shipping. The cool thing is that if you or a friend have a C@R licence, you don't have to hassel with the transfer fee.

That's not exactly true. ??? Someone with a C&R is only allowed to receive firearms for themselves, for collecting purposes. Receiving them for other people would constitute a "business" use, and is not allowed.

hmm, there is a gun buy back here in a couple weeks... they are giving $150 gift cards, $200 for a hand gun...hmmm

Might I suggest that if you pull that scheme off that you not post it on here  >:(

There are some on here, me being one, that if they caught you destroying guns would not question the cost of airline tickets or rope or tar or feather, and we would be on your door step so fast your hot doctor wife would not be able to put the pieces back together again ... Humpty!

Whats wrong with making a buck?  would you feel bad if it was a gun was no longer working or was a real POS like a pot metal 25 auto?

Several years back I found a few rifles in the woods right next to a stream.  all of them rusted so badly that the actions would not work.  ( even after a month long soad in deisel they would not budge with out a hammer.)  I turned them in to the LEA.  they kept them for about 6 months then told me to come claim them.  2 of the 3 guns were worth saving, so I gave them to a friend that was learning to smith.  the last one was a 10/22 that was so far gone it was not even funny.  we even broke off the bolt handle trying to get it cleard.  I sold it to a buy back.  Ended up donated the card to a non profit to be auctioned off at  thier end of the year rafle.

Oh yeah, The other 2 guns I gave away, one ended up not being savable, the other was a marlin leaver in 30-30, not only have I shot it, its got about 10 deer to is name .
I always break all the clay pigeons,  some times its even with lead.

J&G $69.00 ..........I paid $109.00 for a 91/30 Tula, picked it myself, and the damn thing is still a old school combat rifle, with pig sticker, that shoots everything. Milsurp,....good to go. Corrosive Eastern Bloc surplus,....even better. Winchester 180 gr.,.....rips right threw washing machines.

Ask deepwater, he converted me with his 91, the damn things will knock down what it hits. Period. Ammo is cheap. Monte Carlo stocks available at Cheaper than Dirt, (for those so inclined),,,,

Just get one.. When all else fails, the Nagant won't. It is what it is, and those 203 gr. SP rds. work on vehicles.

Little Flitz on the bolt, TLC, and some oil.....Good to Go, with a thumper round.
Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."

You guys are killin' me!
I already don't have enough room in 2 safes for my long guns and you show me a deal like these.
AARRRRRGG!!

Maybe I'll drive to Prescott just to.....look at the town square?   Yeah, that's it!

NO! I can't! I just can't get yet another caliber in another long gun.

Unless I find a sweet 20g O/U for quail hunting...
You can say lots of bad things about pedophiles; but at least they drive slowly past schools.

First, show the quail a little respect and get a side by side, they'll thank you for it. ;) Secondly BUY THE DAMN NAGANT. I am the only one ith a legit excuse not to and thats because I'm left handed. But honestly, out the door for less thn a $100 for a great gun and a piece of history? Why wouldn't you buy one?

First, I'm broke as hell and even I can come up with $70. As far as cosmoline? Well, I wouldn't reccomend it......but, a not so little bird with stripes explained that gasoline does a very quick and effecient job. YMMV. ;D
