Right up there with Yellowstone, the Grand Canyon and the Capitol Mall. One of our national treasures. :P Be sure to hit a Hooters and drink a Bud Light and watch the Jerry Springer or Dr. Phil Show while you're at it. :-[

PS Do they still have that Civili War Diorama thing? I wanted to see it when I was a kid, but the exhibit was closed. I hadn't thought about it since till just this minute.

I prefer Wing House to Hooters better girls, better wings and a full bar. I hate Wal Mart, they've done more damage to this country than most people realize but at the same time they've become a necessary evil. Now that they've run all the mom & pop type businesses out of town you have to go out of your way not to shop there. The fact that they have cheap ammo (and long guns at a few remaining locations) doesn't help either.

Yep, it's located at the City of Atlanta's Grant Park along with the city zoo.  They've just refurbished it again.  In the same building is the locomotive, Texan, which was half of the Great Locomotive Chase.   Up in Kennesaw, near where I live,  they have a museum with the other engine, The General.

You've just seen photographic evidence of the reason the wife doesn't want me carrying at Wally World.  She calls it a "Target-rich environment".   ;D

IIRC it's called "The Atlanta Cyclorama", the General was stolen by Yankee's (  ;D  ) and chased by the Texan (The first car chase  ;D  ).

Alf, How far are you from the Kennesaw Mountain battlefield ?

+1, bafsu....I've said the same thing in almost those same exact words several times.

As to the video, welcome to what America has become. People have no standards and many apparently have no shame any more. I've missed several opportunities to have provided pics to POWM if I'd only had a camera handy.
"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison

"When it comes to the enemy, just because they ain't pullin' a trigger, doesn't mean they ain't totin' ammo for those that are."~PegLeg
