MAKE A STATEMENT!!

I was thinking over the last few weeks about what to do with my Federal Tax Rebate Check when they are issued later this year. As some of you know, I have been contemplating a new tactical rifle(all of that info was great by the way!), and while talking with my brother it occured to me, what a statement would be made, if each one of us used our 'Federal Tax Rebate' to go out and buy a new gun!!
I think we all feel a little concerned with the political tide shifting to the left, that our rights are just months from being trampled on. The Dems are just sitting back waiting for a chance to reinstate the overly useless Assault Weapon Ban. McCain will not step up and resist if he were to get the job. 'Shrillary' and Osama are just looking for the chance to take a swing at the 2nd Amendment. Our current backstabbing President has also put his two cents worth in on the upcoming Supreme Court case, and twisted the blade in the process! .
So what are we to do? I say we use said 'Federal Tax Rebate' and go to our favorite local gun shop and buy ourselves a new a brand new gun! We encourage others to do the same. Instead of consumer electronics, gasoline, or some other pointless waste of this money, go buy yourself a new .22, a new .45, a new tactical rifle, or whatever you like.
If you know someone who is unsure of buying  a new gun, encouage them to do it now! The government is giving you free money for Christ's Sake!!!
Make a statement this year in the run up to the election, buy a new gun!! Let the RNC, who has apparently abandoned its core voters, know your out buying new guns because they failed to get a candidate who was at least 'happily apethetic' toward the gun rights issue. Let the Dems know that regardless of what 'Shrillary' and 'Osama' and the rest of the liberal left threaten, that you will exercise your God given and Constituionally guaranteed rights.

Great idea. I know many were planning to do that independently. But you make an awesome point, let the major parties know that we are doing so AND WHY. let's put the fear of overdue justice into these egocentric leeches. Gun control has never been about crime, it's ALWAYS been about control. In the north, especially Illinois, it was to keep striking factory workers from being able to protect themselves from company goon squads (often hired from the Pinkerton agency) and in the south it was to keep Blacks "in their place" in other words second class citizens. Did you know that JFPO published details showing that the "Dodd bill" (gun control act of 1968) was basically a translation of the Nazi gun law of 1935?

Pathfinder, you are exactly right, every penny of that rebate check is OUR money. I neglected to talk about this earlier. We as a collective group need to make them realize that we are fed up with their phoney propaganda and take notice as to what we are doing with our 'dime thrown back to us.' There is only so much we as a people are willing to take!

No it's not OUR money, it's China's money. Our money is whats going to pay the loan over the next however many years. My only complaint about the war in Iraq is that it's expensive as all get out to fight a modern, high tech war 12000 miles from home, so the government has been borrowing from Red China. On the bright side, maybe they will do something to get us POed and we'll use it as an excuse to stiff them 

Regadless, spend it on a gun (or ammo) no matter where it came from.
