It's a shame that with all the nit picking about the half time show, which is nothing but a way to kill dead time between halves, none of you felt it worth mentioning who WON the damn game !  >:(

ARLINGTON, Texas – Aaron Rodgers completed 24 of 39 passes for 304 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions, and the Green Bay Packers held off a late charge by the Pittsburgh Steelers to win Super Bowl XLV, 31-25, Sunday in Arlington, Texas.

Rodgers was named MVP.

wish one of the linebackers had run onto the fileld a body slammed her into the turf
Have your musket clean as a whistle, hatchet scoured, 60 rounds powder and ball and be ready to march at a minute's warning.

They were all too busy shuffling their feet and picking their noses  >:(  We need to bring Bud Grant back to coach the players on how it is done.  He used to make the team practice standing at attention on the sideline with their feet on the line and their heels lined up with the back edge.  Helmet under left arm and right hand on their heart.  They did this for every game regardless of what the other team was doing, and they held to the end of the last note rather than breaking it a line or two from the end.

Football hasn't been the same since coaches stopped wearing proper hats....

Blame the NFL!  I asked once why coaches didn't dress in suits and hats anymore, and it was explained how it is all about the contracts with vendors.  Can't wear anything that doesn't have the contracted logos in the proper place.  Maybe if Landry could get Nike or Starter to put a logo on he could still wear the hat, but the suits are forbidden because they don't sell them in the pro shops.

Aguilera messed up the lyrics as she performed her "urban yodeling" of the National Anthem. :'(  No big surprise there.  And yes, I'm old.  But there is a right way to respectfully sing our Nation's song and urban yodeling ain't it.  >:(

The half-time show???  Think back and try to remember when one of these has been worth watching.  I couldn't, either. ???

The game???  I really thought the Stillers could still pull it out until that final interception. :P  Yes, I am disappointed.  But not as disappointed as my pal from Pittsburgh.  I haven't heard from Haz yet.  I hope he's gonna pull through. :-\
“I’ve lived the literal meaning of the ‘land of the free’ and ‘home of the brave.’ It’s not corny for me. I feel it in my heart. I feel it in my chest. Even at a ball game, when someone talks during the anthem or doesn’t take off his hat, it pisses me off. I’m not one to be quiet about it, either.”  Chris Kyle
