So I got my Delta elite back from the smith today...
« on: March 11, 2008, 04:35:55 AM »
All I can say is wow... from a POS that was not functioning to a very tight fitting gun... Trigger pull came out to 2 lb 14 oz, the slide feels like its on ball barrings...  I can't wait too shoot it.
I always break all the clay pigeons,  some times its even with lead.

How old was the gun?  Did you try Colt customer service?

This was the used and abused gun I bough for $20... it had been left in a box in a basement...it was litterly a paper weight.   Infact when I was doing the "safe handling demo" at the FFL we had to use a hammer to get it to go to battery so the safety could be applied...

It was thrasted.  I bought it for the frame, the slide ended up being fine.  every thing else ended up being replaced.

I would love to post pics...  But I lost the cable for my camera.    I'm about ready to leave for a range trip...  :)

You do know the maximum effective range for an excuse, don't you?

In case you don't know it's .0 meters! ;D

Ah Erik.  I LOVE that.   ;D

Find someone else with a camera or cable then.  No excuses teasing us..
