I really liked this pistol at the NRA show. If I were designing a 1911 from the ground-up, the SR1911 is pretty close. The only change I'd make is an arched mainspring housing ......

If it's mil spec then no problem.  Flat main spring housings are available.  I have both and after years of using the flat one I switch back to the arched original and found out I like it better.

Addicted, you put some nice touches on the Ruger. The darker colored grips look sharp.

especially with the prises that the other 1911 options we have here,


still no ETA or Price for us over here though ( or if we can get them) ..   give me time to start saving more though.
