Hey Haz
I called that outfitter of yours. They seem pretty solid. You can't beat the price. $50 per head, $100 per hog, and $25 to quarter it. It's a solid deal. Still, their stand hunting is over feeders which I generally have issues with. That's not so much true for hogs as they are pests and the ranch wants them gone, and just wants to make a buck out of pest control, so I can deal. The question I had was about the dog and buggy hunts. I'm a bird dog guy and love to watch a dog work. They said they can use baying dogs for rifles or a catch dog for knives (guess which way I'm leaning

). I think it would be cool to watch the show and learn something even if I don't make a habit of it. So, the question is this. What kind of ranges are we talking about? Is there a clear field of fire or snap shots? The question is whether to bring the AR or the bolt .270 (bayonet in reserve of course). Your input is appreciated.
