I bought a used Redhawk .44 a few years ago that had the Uncle Mikes grips on them and love them for shooting although I like the looks of wood more. Is your .45 Redhawk have a 4 inch or 4.2 inch barrrel? I have heard that Ruger went from a 4" barrel to 4.2" for export reasons, I think for Canada to meet minimum barrel length requirements. So if you want to get all the .45 Redhawks in stainless you need the 4", 4.2", 5.5" and 7.5". Not sure if they made .45's in blued also or with the scope ring cuts, so there may be others models out there. Then there are the .41 magnums and the .357 mag Redhawks.
I'd like to find a Tyler grip adapter, but they are few and far between now.
KPR we need to get together again and go to the range. I'll bring both the .44 and .45 Redhawks, but may be real short on the .45 colt ammo.
