More jihad on our shores from the Religion of "Peace"

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2011/06/17/suspicious-vehicle-shuts-down-several-major-roads-near-pentagon/

FTA: "Yonathan Melaku, a Lance Corporal Marine corps (sic) reservist who lives in Virginia and who is Muslim, has been identified as the suspect in custody, Fox News has learned.

Sources close to the investigation also said a notebook believed to belong to the man was found containing threatening phrases like "Al Qaeda," "Taliban rule" and "defeated coalition forces."
...
Law enforcement officials also told Fox News that police found five pounds of a substance labeled ammonium nitrate inside the backpack -- field tests, however, came back negative. "

Are you even listening to  yourself Path? Lets try this in a Fox "News" to English translation.
1) They arrested a Marine reservist in Arlington National Cemetery.
2) He had a back pack full of an inert substance (eg something other than a bomb or bomb making materials)
3) Someone with the same name was popped a few months ago, but we don't know if it was him, or if this was just thrown in extraneously to make him look bad.
4) He was acting alone. eg , he was a guy in his car, with no ties to anybody, carrying nothing illegal, who was arrested at a cemetery where fellow Marines were buried and now his name is splashed around as public enemy number 1?

Look, maybe he is a bad guy, but I'm having flashbacks to Ashcroft and "The Dirty Bomber" and "The Miami Seven". Sorry, but the Fox report seems to raise a lot more questions than it answers and their chump of a reporter didn't ask any of them, just vomited back the DOJ press release. A real journalist (are there any of those left on ANY network?) would have asked a simple question. "Since he didn't break any laws, and no charges have been filed, why is he being held and under what authority"? 'Cause frankly, I'd like to hear the answer to that. Of course, I'm an old fart and like quaint antiques like the Writ of Habeas Corpus (its silly I know). >:( Just my .02.

Where are the "threatening phrases". You could find their pathetic examples in posts here.
Sounds like bullshit to me.

Wow, Tom, FQ and I agree.

Until something definitive is release from a source Who Willl Let HIS/HER name be used I will wait and see.
I've been involved in one "the sky is falling" event at the puzzle palace. I tend to be much more suspect now.

Wasn't someone asking about "End Time" signs?

If TAB agrees I'm headed to the bunker.

I know it's something of a stretch, but I am still frosted by TSA groping Grandma, a 6-month old baby and a special needs kid, while letting mooslims walk through security without a second glance.

On top of that, the back-bending and gyrations after Ft. Hood to not point a finger at the mooslim aspect, plus the fraggings that occurred in Iraq by mooslim US soldiers.

Cain caught unholy hell for saying he would not have a mooslim in his cabinet, and at this point I would vote for him for that statement alone.

Then to find out this guy is a freakin' Marine Reservist? WTF? Do we not vet people anymore? It's bad enough my son is in Marine boot and will someday have people trying to kill him. I just would wish they were not his fellow Marines like this wanker.

In all seriousness, I get exactly where you are coming from.......... it would just be nice if these "sources close to the investigation" MSM clowns and such would report factual details.....and if they do not have more details, then don't give information that causes conclusion-drawing prematurely.
