Jewish court sentences dog to death by stoning
A Jerusalem rabbinical court condemned to death by stoning a dog it suspects is the reincarnation of a secular lawyer who insulted the court's judges 20 years ago, Ynet website reported on Friday.

It's the Middle East. They are all crazy by definition, its a requirement to live there. Every damn one of them is a trouble maker. They have been since Moses, Jesus, and Mohamed. The world would be more peaceful without any of them. ;D

The court doesn't have child molesters or suicide bombers but they need something to keep them busy

Their preferred divine retribution was for the lawyer's spirit to move into the body of a dog, an animal considered impure by traditional Judaism.

Anyone who doesn't like dogs can KMA. 
How can you not like a huntin' dog? It just isn't right.
You can say lots of bad things about pedophiles; but at least they drive slowly past schools.

Damn straight. Let me be clear here. If I were to be forced to stone to death either a good bird dog, a priest, an imam or a rabbi,  and I got to choose, the dog would be safe. ;D

FQ13 who does have some issues with people who get a pay check for being holier than thou.

Why? You used to get paid for exactly that, perfesser!

As for the "rabbinic court", that could be anything and anyone, probably on the far, far out fringe of the yammi-bobbers (ultra orthodox). I know of nothing in Torah that indicates a dog's lowly status - it is simply one of God's creations. As Jesus said, God cannot create something offensive and vile or impure. But then, if they believed in Jesus. . . .

You had me more or less agreeing right up till "As Jesus said, God cannot create something offensive and vile or impure.".
That completely ignores the bit about pigs and creatures with cloven hooves being impure.
