I thought something was different but wasn't sure what.  :)
""It may be laid down as a primary position, and the basis of our system, that every Citizen who enjoys the protection of a free Government, owes not only a proportion of his property, but even his personal services to the defence of it, and consequently that the Citizens of America (with a few legal and official exceptions) from 18 to 50 Years of Age should be borne on the Militia Rolls, provided with uniform Arms, and so far accustomed to the use of them, that the Total strength of the Country might be called forth at a Short Notice on any very interesting Emergency." - George Washington. Letter to Alexander Hamilton, Friday, May 02, 1783

I was too busy picturing you straddling a dog house wearing a leather helmet and goggles, shaking your fist and cursing Toonces. Its a lot more entertaining than looking at a target's eyes. ;D ;D ;D ;D

After mounting it up and trying it out on the rifle.  I couldn't help it, the Elite 3200 has a new home!  ;D

MUCH, MUCH more appropriate scope for a pellet gun now that I have a little more experience.  Adjustable magnification, and objectives do nothing on anything less than 200 yard shooting with any rifle imo (NO use on a pellet rifle).  Simply slows shot time, and adds a possible failure point to the total machine.  Most all the optics I own are 10X, so it's the sight picture I've become conditioned to expect (quick, easy acquisition).  With the Trophy scope I was forced to use "Kentucky windage" for elevation adjustments at range.  Target Turrets are the way to go on any pellet gun!

And oh yes!  These mounts are markedly better than the original 1 pc.!  Threads on all the bolts are the longest I've ever seen on any scope mount.  They have the glue type material inside the rings like the original to (NICE).  HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
