Screw the bite me, are they safe?

Safety and motorcycles in the same sentence? There's a reason bikes are called donorcycles by firemen and cops.

I used to have a bike for my only mode of transportation for years, even a few years as a fireman. Now I'm older and possibly wiser.
I like air conditioning too much, I hated having to go for x-rays every time there was an oops and I don't heal nearly as fast.
You can say lots of bad things about pedophiles; but at least they drive slowly past schools.

Sidecars are fun, ask any dog.

We lost Molly to serious health issues last year, deeply missed.

And that bike you've got can be ordered with reverse and as 2 wheel drive if I remember right.  Waaayyy cool!!!  They say once you get them adjusted in and tuned up right their like an anvil.  Last two lifetimes.

I've seen videos of them painted up in OD green, with gun mounts, crawling around in mud and snow.   ;D

Sorry to hear about the dog.  I know first hand how bad that su#$s.

Screw the bite me, are they safe? It just seems like a light weight rig bouncing around on two wheels at 75mph could lead to badness. If I'm wrong, I'll be glad to stand corrected as I don't have a dog in this fight. I've just always thought that they were a potentially bad idea.

I know it's a hazy photo, but so is the weather up here.  Didn't know it until now that we don't have a photo.

About 3k with it back there last year, and just over 1k so far this summer.  Just like pulling a trailer with anything, it is all in the set up and operation.

Damn M58! I owe you one hell of an apology. I thought I should feel bad that BO hadn't helped the economy worth a damn, I didn't realize he'd brought back the dustbowl as well. I'm, really, really sorry. ;D

That is 98 F and about 90% humidity.  The centerfield camera at the Twins game last night was about as bad trying to focus on the batter.

IN MINNESOTA!  That's just not fair.  You get way to much cold stuff up there to get that to.  :(

For those who don't like scooters...  I'll bet I can change your minds.  ;)

A buddy had one of those with his 94 GoldWing.  It had it's own suspension and tracked quite well behind the bike.  He used it for years with no problems.  I assume they've gotten better over the years.  Nice set up Mike!

Was trying to figure out what to watch tonight. Guess I will break out my copy of "Electraglide in Blue"... ;)

Love watching the Indianapolis Police Motorcycle Team. Those guys are incredible.

Tim, Mike I guess my problem, or rather worry, goes back to Archimededes.. Remember "Give me a lever long enough and a place to stand and I will move the world"? Well, that's a Long tongue and a light trailer, and 220 pounds of you anchoring your bike doesn't seem so heavy in the end.  It was just a recurring picture of being jerked off your bike that concerned me.
