Last MN I bought I told them to just keep the accesory package, just give me the bayonet.  There's to many of these things around to ever have collector value (talking about the $90 buys), and I've got to much junk as it is.

The one Quaker ordered has a realy nice looking finish on the steel.  Let us know how it is!

I've paid less than $80.00 for most of my Mosins, the most I have ever paid I believe was about $120.00 and that was to get a pristine barrel.

All of them came with accessory kits so I have a few that I have been selling on eBay.

I find there is quite a bit of value in the accessory kits............... In fact the sum of the pieces is worth much more than the whole.

Does theirs include the accessory package?

Sling, pouches, bayonet, etc.

Mongo back from Mills . . . .   ::)

Good news - yes, they come complete with all sorts of junk, including a bayonet. Century Arms is the distributor.

Middling news - the one on the shelf looks like it could be a Stalingrad survivor - I know nothing about Moisins and they had the trigger guard locked so I wasn't able to check a lot of the gun, but the bore looked clean. It also looked like it needed some cleaning before use.

Bad news - they are now charging $99, not $90. BUT - the gun can be in my hands as soon as I clear the check - and they clear the credit card! I do not need one, I do not particularly want one, but . . . . . .

For the price I assumed they were disposable....

You like the laminated one? I think there are 3 laminated ones in there someplace.

Oh yeah.  I'm not one to choose wood as a material to put on any weapon, but laminate is pretty!  Especially some of the laminate MN's I've seen.  I've only got a regular 30 and a 44, and neither one is any more accurate than a AK, but that doesn't make MN's anything less of a GREAT gun IMO.  Reliable, powerful, perfectly balanced, simplicity at its finest.

And there's always these out there.  http://www.snipercentral.com/mosin.htm

That I'd love to have one day!   ;D ;D ;D
