Well, I sure hope they get the 4-Wheelers and round up the meat.....Be a shame to have them rot out there,....although the turkey buzzards will be really partying.

Nice 12g,....slugs are pretty darn devastating.....
Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."

Nugent wacked 1500 from a copter last year, where's that video?

He said, in an interview with Mr. Bane, that automatic gunfire was a waste of ammo.  He found that a couple of well place rounds was far more effective.

Sledge, if you think I'm the poster boy for PETA, you have been reading a very different board than the one I've been posting on. A dead pig is bacon. A live pig is tommorow's bacon. I'm just saying that if you can spend a few bucks and a few hours on the range to get cleaner kills, you should. But, its your call, and you don't need me telling me that you want to put an animal down cleanly do you? Hell, your momma and your granddaddy taught you that. ;)

I hope not, that and being a democrat would be more than anyone could bear.  ;D
Not sure about your neck of the woods but here feral pigs are a plane menace, value of meat is null. Of course the shooters and FTR they are pretty damn good, mostly clean them up in one go, however I can guarantee no one is going to cry over a wounded pig that takes a few mins to die or longer as long as it dies. What shooters do is no worse than nature, animals that catch other animals start devouring them before they are dead, I am sure coyotes etc leave half eaten lambs still alive, yet imagine the hoo har if some one shoots a coyote for eg and some tofu muncher finds it half alive and takes it to a vet, all of a sudden its "bloody shooters/hunters, they are cruel" etc.
So from what I saw of the video posted above the occasional miss is not even warranted  for comment.

Actually most predators, opportunity presenting, will go for a single strike kill, such as a neck breaking bite, simply for reasons of economy of energy.

No, they do it to reduce their chance of injury.

Killer whales, dolphins and cats all play with their food if there is no risk.

Hard to shoot out of a boat too.
Bodean... you're supposed to stop the truck.. slowly and quietly roll down the window.. hand your beer to someone to hold.. THEN shoot..  ;D

That would have been nice but my granddad was driveing. He was going to get closer. It didnt matter what it took.

Looked to me like his hit to kill ratio was pretty damn good!

If you have hit them hard enought to knock them down, they are probably dead in the very near future.

I have personally seen two deer shot directly through the heart get up and run 100+ yards before collapsing.
