ROFL, but very true for a lot of idiots. "Gee, guns are evil, and no one will steal in a time of social breakdown". ::)

A few years ago, my BIL was preparing for the apocalypse by storing the basics, etc.  He was telling me what he had at a family gathering and though in better shape than I was at the time I asked how he was going to defend it should the SHTF!

He looked at me kind of funny and a light bulb went off above his head.  He's a UPS Teamster and until that day pretty much in the camp of the left.  He now owns a S&W .357 wheel gun, a Walther PPK/S and a small S&W .22 revolver to play with but I think the week I broke in his Walther for him more than a year ago was the last time any of them were loaded....

Sad!  Someday I'll buy them from him on the cheap...

Stupid cartoon!  >:(  Hoarders mindsets don't usually allow them to think of having to defend their goodies.  And yeah, come to think of it, all the people I know who hoard supplies like that ARE lefties...  Hmmm.  Scared of the government they created???

You don't know any Mormons do you...
You can say lots of bad things about pedophiles; but at least they drive slowly past schools.

You live in hurricane country and you think being prepared to last when the deliveries stop is hoarding ?
The lefties I know only carry a spare tire because it came with the car, not that they would know how to change one any way.

I once made a fair bit of money off my girlfriend from a bet. (I of course payed her that back and more by way of an expensive dinner, but the point was made). I bet her that we could go to her female friends and I would pay her $10 for every properly inflated spare tire. $60 in my pocket. ;)

Probably was wrong to use the "hoarder" brand.  But I can tell you "Hurricane Zone" though it is, MAYBE 1 in 100 people, nah, scratch that, 1 in 3 or 4 hundred might have more than a few days food or supplies in their homes around here.   ::) >:( ::)

Some talk about doing it.  I seriously don't know another person here who's done anything more than buy a weather alert radio.  And only two come to mind that have that!  Knowing this, I wish I could better predict their behavior when something does happen.  I hope they just bug out!

Only people I know that actually stock up any supplies still live in Michigan.
