What a team.  Less than 20 rounds between them.    ;D

Bring your calculator next time we meet on the street!

1911 on the hip - cocked and locked with nine rounds;
LCP in pocket - cocked and locked with 7 rounds;
Spare mags totaling between 14 and 28 rounds depending on attire.

However, when you carry a .45 I don't know why there is a need for an ammo store in your pocket  ;D

My favorite demo piece was a bullet I dug out of the target stop at the range.  I'm not sure if it was a .380, .38 special +p, or a 9mm - we were shooting all three.  However, the best thing was that the mushroomed bullet could be dropped through the paper hole cut by my .45  ;D  What is that old saying about wondering if a 9mm will expand  ;D
If I appear taller than other men it is because I am standing on the shoulders of others.

Keeping everything else equal, replace all the 1911's with 14 rounds locked and their spare mags with 13 rounds each and tell me what your calculator comes up with?      ;D ;D

Holes made by a .45 ACP look similar whether they came out of a 1911 or a G21.

The 1911s are a lot prettier though.

Seriously, we're going through this again?

Can't we all just get along?  It's for the children, after all.

They can have the fridge on their side.  I'll take the bathroom.

I can get used to Pizza Delivery and warm beer.

*I don't think any of us honestly expect to win this debate or make any converts just a chance to poke fun at those wrong thinking, thick headed idiots on the other side...who we'd be thankful to have at our backs in any tight spot.

Where did this all start again?

Oh yea - It was all about how much better we get along, and how we respect each other so much better than participants on those monster forums do  ;D

I choose to stay above the fray with my trusty, though slightly worn, (read: well loved) Sig 229 in .40
With 2 extra mags I have 36 rounds of compact persuasion at my disposal.

So you guys can debate 1911, and tactical tupperware till your all blue in the face. I enjoy listening to the badgering.  ;D

Who has a 1911 that only holds 9 rounds? Mine holds 18 rounds.  :P

Bunch of sissies.

May as well keep stirring.  ;D
